BEN LOYAL HOTEL TARIFF 2008

All bedrooms are en-suite with central heating, colour TV, direct dial telephones, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. The resident’s lounge has an open fire. The hotel is completely non-smoking including all bedrooms, restaurant, residents lounge and other public areas such as the Bistro Bar.

Room Rates

All rates include full Scottish Breakfast and Value Added Tax (VAT) at 17.5%

Rooms with Views

4-poster, double, twin or single rooms with wonderful views out over the Kyle of Tongue, Ben Loyal, Ben Hope and the ruin of Castle Varrich.

£40 per person per night

Rooms overlooking the Central Courtyard or the Village Street

Doubles, twins or family room overlooking hotel central courtyard or quiet village street.

£35 per person per night

Single Occupation of Double or Twin Bedded Room

An additional £20 per night except in July, August and September where the total room rate will apply

Children's Rates

Children’s Rates (including full Scottish Breakfast). The rates below only apply if the child (children) are sharing a room with a parent. If they have their own room then the normal rates will apply.

0 - 4 years £15 per night

5 - 15 years £20 per night

Lunch is available in our Lounge Bar between 12.00 and 14.15 Monday to Saturday and from 12.30 to 14.15 on a Sunday from a full menu of homemade food.

Dinner is served in our award winning An Garbh Restaurant and in our Bistro Bar from an excellent a la carte menu. Guests dining in the restaurant can enjoy excellent food and outstanding views from the restaurant. Evening meals are served from 18.00 - 20.30 every day.

Non residents are welcome join us for breakfast between 08.00 and 09.15 every day.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

All bookings must be guaranteed with a credit/debit card. Nothing will be taken from the card prior to your arrival (although its validity will be checked so please ensure that you enter the correct details). All room rates are subject to alteration at the discrection of the owner's.

Our cancellation policy is as follows.

In either of the situations detailed below the cost of the room for one night, less breakfast (currently £8.50 per person) will be taken from your card.

Failure to show up on the expected date before the latest time of arrival of 11.00 pm (23.00 hours). If for any reason you have a problem on your journey to Tongue and think that you will arrive after that time then please contact us on 01847 611216 to let us know.

Cancellation of booking giving us less than 24 hours notice.

Bookings for 3 or more rooms must be cancelled in writing at least a fortnight in advance otherwise all rooms booked will be charged for one night as stated above. Please consider taking out holiday insurance to cover any cancellation charges that you might incur.
